This is where Karen shows up – in a virtual, online, on-demand sort of way – to put CONTENT into CONTEXT. Just like the Self-Study (CONTENT) Program, there are Program Handouts stored on our Training Portal, which you may view online or print a copy for your personal use when studying. Karen has color-coded everything – including the FinCEN Final Rule itself – to enhance readability and aid comprehension. If you are printing a copy for your personal use, please print on a color printer. You will be glad you did!
We strongly recommend that you complete the Layered Learning Step 1: FinCEN Final Rule Self-Study Program, A Guided-Learning Flashcard-Based Rule Review BEFORE attending this Program. The Self-Study Program is designed to help you gain familiarity with the CONTENT of the FinCEN Final Rule.
CE-CLE CREDIT (Pending Information): This Program was not designed as a CE-CLE Course looking for a ‘Trending Topic.’ Just the opposite, in fact! Karen created the the entire suite of FinCEN Programs and Products to assist title (settlement) agents, attorneys, and related industry professionals (e.g., realtors) in understanding how the FinCEN Final Rule imacts the overall settlement services industry.
Therefore, it is essential we get it right the first time around, especially when collecting FinCEN-required information from Buyers and Sellers. That’s why Karen focused, first, on program-product development (for the national industry audience) and, second, about adding a layer of regulatory-required formatting (quizzes and scored final exam) for our Florida and Alabama students.
As of mid-June, we are nearing completion of the FinCEN 101: Your Guide to Success Program, and will be submitting the Program for CE-CLE accreditation in Florida and Alabama. Once we receive accreditation, we will post that information on our Course Calendar. We anticipate that occurring on or before July 15, 2025.
In the meantime, we plan to upload the Program as soon as it is completed. However, we wanted to be sure to let our Florida and Alabama students (those seeking CE-CLE credit) to wait, until accreditation is secured, before completing the Program.
